backstory:
the doctors experimented with AI not artificial, but creating actual intelligence.for that they needed volenteers, so naturally they prayed on those in comas and near death townsfolk...grant was a normal person, friend, family, a girlfriend but that all went up in smoke when his car crash happened. no he didnt volenteer, he was just someone no one would miss, his girlfriend left him for his brother, his parents couldnt afford to keep him in life support, and his friends moved on...so the doctors made sure this body was un accounted for...of course their schemes were uncovered and the company sank some of its facilities underwater, these salvage yards practically picked clean of scrap. some gems still remain, like grant. who out of a surge of power is woken up by a shark girl exploring this new underwater cave...fear and shock across his near lifelike face as she tells him its been 2 years since his accident. and the world has changed... he got used to his new body quick now able to take a wrecking ball through a 2 buildings is  not afraid of anything and also decided to be her body guard. she needs little protection though. so he spends his time re learning what the world is now like with her. occasionally getting into fights with others
